We believe in human dignity

In a world where it seems no-one agrees on anything, a world where politics divides, religion divides, race and even cultural borders seem to divide, dignity is something that everyone can agree on.

Dear students
The Global Dignity Day is celebrated around the world every year in October. The idea behind celebrating this is to encourage and recognize the right of every human being to live their life with dignity and respect.
Every human being regardless of race, culture or social background has the right to protect his or her dignity. This blogpost has been created for your contributions regarding the Global Dignity Day. Feel free to share your poems, essays, personal experiences and journals here for everyone to read.

Fair Judgement??

Dear students

I have often experienced students at almost all levels complaining that teachers are not always fair in their judgement or they favour students they like.Well, this is not always true.Maybe at times we do come across a situation where things look unfair but in reality that is not true!Judgement or making a decision is a big responsibility on our part where we,as teachers try our best to do what is best.In the recent past ,I had tried my best to train all my students to share with me the responsibility to evaluate and make decisions. We have successfully given a fair chance to everyone in the inter class declamation, where you decided who should be selected and the documentary competition, where we had external judges to evaluate your work.I am sure there will be many other competitions that all of you are going to be a part of.I actually want all of you to share with me how you feel decisions should be taken as far as your school and class activities are concerned. How can you help to organize and make things better? How much responsibility are you ready to take on?Or do you just want to be the silent, passive participant wanting things to happen by themselves.Share your ideas how can we as a class or team make things better.Your suggestions are extremely valuable :)

Let's make a difference.it's Ramadan!!

Dear students I am sure by now all of you would be busy fasting and enjoying Ramadan.staying awake till sehri and sleeping all afternoon!! Well this is actually what I have witnessed around me.There is an air of festivity around and each one of us is busy praying to God Almighty for forgiveness and blessing us with so many wonderful things.hope all of you are saying your prayers along with taravi.I would like to share something I actually felt very proud of,well it's not something I did but it was the brainchild of my sons and their friends.they got together prepared some iftaari items and took all those to the Edhi home. They stayed there the whole evening served the food, entertained the children there by playing games with them and painting their faces!! I felt really good as it was something these kids had decided to do by themselves.this was actually a proof that our upcoming generation is not wasting time in useless things, they are helpful, kind and caring as well! In this holy month if there are any gestures of kindness that you could also be a part of,go ahead and do it.I'm sure not only you but everyone associated to you willbe proud of you.well that includes me too!!! Please share any experiences of such kind that you know of or you have actually done. Waiting for your replies(which are extremely slow!!) Mam Ambreen
